Little Ceasars Puffs

  • Author: Dianna
  • Total Time: 30 minutes

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package of refrigerated crescent roll dough (8 oz): This is the star of the show! It’s flaky, buttery, and the perfect base for your puffs.
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese: The gooier, the better! Mozzarella melts beautifully, making your puffs extra cheesy.
  • ½ cup pepperoni slices (or your choice of fillings): These add a delicious, savory flavor. Feel free to swap with diced vegetables or cooked chicken for a different taste.
  • ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning: This is optional, but it adds a lovely flavor that pairs wonderfully with cheese.
  • Cooking spray or oil: To grease the baking sheet and give your puffs that beautiful golden color.
  • Optional dipping sauces: Marinara sauce, ranch dressing, or garlic butter work great for dipping!

Instructions

Let’s get cooking! Follow these easy steps to whip up your own Little Caesars Puffs:

Step 1: Preheat the Oven

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). This is an essential step that helps your puffs bake evenly and achieve that perfect golden color.

Step 2: Prepare the Baking Sheet

  • While the oven is preheating, line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with cooking spray. This will prevent the puffs from sticking and make cleanup a breeze.

Step 3: Unroll the Crescent Dough

  • Open the package of crescent roll dough and unroll it onto a clean surface. You’ll see that the dough is perforated into triangles. Don’t worry if they aren’t perfect; they’ll still taste amazing!

Step 4: Add the Filling

  • Take a triangle of dough and add about 1 tablespoon of shredded mozzarella cheese in the center. Then, place 2-3 slices of pepperoni (or your chosen filling) on top of the cheese. If you’re using Italian seasoning, sprinkle a pinch over the filling for extra flavor.

Step 5: Shape the Puffs

  • Now comes the fun part! Carefully fold the sides of the triangle over the filling to enclose it completely. Pinch the edges to seal the puff. You want to make sure no cheese leaks out while baking, so seal it well!

Step 6: Repeat

  • Repeat this process with the remaining dough triangles and fillings until you’ve used them all. If you find that you have extra filling left over, go ahead and make a couple more puffs!

Step 7: Bake

  • Place the filled puffs on the prepared baking sheet, ensuring they have a bit of space between them to allow for rising. Spray the tops lightly with cooking spray or brush them with a little oil for that golden finish. Bake in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes, or until the puffs are golden brown.

Step 8: Cool and Serve

  • Once the puffs are done baking, remove them from the oven and let them cool for a couple of minutes on the baking sheet. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauces, and enjoy the delightful cheesy goodness!
